Travelling to Pisa
Pisa is easily reachable by plane or train.
It is served by the international airport “Galilei” and two train stations (Pisa Centrale and Pisa San Rossore).
For people travelling by car, many hotels offer private parking or permits to access the limited traffic zone. Please make sure you inquire with your hotel as to this possibility, to avoid being fined for accessing the restricted traffic areas without a permit.
Most parking spaces in the center are pay-parking, with hourly fees ranging from €0,60 to €2,00. There are two free “park and ride” parking lots, connected to the center by frequent bus rides. One is the parking lot in Via Pietrasantina. It is connected to the center by the city bus line LAM Rossa. The other one is in Via Paparelli (Park Brennero). It is connected to the center by the bus line Navetta E.

Pisa is a very popular tourist destination and other conferences will be hosted in the city in the same period. We therefore recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible.
